Irma Fernandez

Irma Fernandez is the Director of Development for Rebuild Local News. Fernandez has nearly a decade of fundraising experience, taking part in political campaigns across the country before shifting to nonprofit journalism. Previously she was part of the development teams at The Associated Press and The Texas Tribune, bringing in major gifts to support those newsrooms’ efforts. Irma is a graduate of St. Edward’s University and spent time in Brazil as a Fulbright scholar.
